Ways to use these Valentines day coloring pages Class sets, one per child. Design 2 prints, folds and holds a name. Print thirty, let them colour their own, and the class exchange is done without buying anything.Fill the banner before colouring. On design 10, write the name first. Children who colour first tend to run the pattern straight through the space they needed.Cut out the small ones. Designs 16, 18 and 21 are compact enough to cut out once coloured and tape to a card, a lunchbox or a window.
Every design downloads as a US Letter PDF that also scales cleanly to A4 with
“Fit to printable area”. Print in grayscale, there is no color in the files. Ordinary copier
paper is fine for crayons and pencils; use cardstock or slip a spare sheet underneath for markers.

Frequently asked questions Which pages have space to write a name? Designs 2, 10, 15 and 22. All four were drawn with a blank area rather than having one cleared out afterwards, so the writing space does not fight the artwork.
Are these only for February? The animal pages work all year. Designs 12, 17 and 21 are a cat, a puppy and an owl that happen to be holding hearts, and children rarely read them as seasonal.
Which is the most detailed? Design 23, the sectioned heart, and design 14, the heart built from flower shapes. Both take an adult twenty minutes or more with fine pens.
Is there anything simple enough for preschool? Designs 1, 6 and 8. Few lines, large enclosed areas, and a shape children already know how to fill.
