20 Free Printable Halloween Coloring Pages
Twenty Halloween coloring pages, all friendly: smiling pumpkins, a cheerful ghost, a witch hat on a broomstick. Spooky enough to be fun, gentle enough for younger children.
Halloween printables usually pick a side: cute enough to bore an eight year old, or genuinely creepy. This set stays on the friendly side of the line the whole way. The jack o lantern is grinning, the ghost has a wavy hem, the skeleton is waving and the monster has one big eye.
Ways to use these Halloween coloring pages
- Party table filler. Twenty designs is enough that a table of children can each get a different one, which stops the comparing.
- Orange and black only. Handing over just two crayons turns a coloring page into a design exercise and the results look far better on a wall.
- Print in September. Classroom Halloween displays get made two weeks early. These are ready to print the moment you need them.
Every design downloads as a US Letter PDF that also scales cleanly to A4 with “Fit to printable area”. Print in grayscale, there is no color in the files. Ordinary copier paper is fine for crayons and pencils; use cardstock or slip a spare sheet underneath for markers. Free to print at home, in a classroom or in a library, see the license.
Frequently asked questions
Are any of these scary?
No. Nothing has fangs, blood or a threatening expression. The one gravestone (15) is drawn plainly with a small pumpkin and a bat beside it, and it is the closest the set gets.
What is in the set?
Jack o lanterns, ghosts, a witch hat and a witch on a broomstick, a black cat, a bat, a haunted house, a candy bucket, a spider, a scarecrow, a mummy, a cauldron, an owl, a monster, a skeleton, a candy corn and a decorated front door.
Suitable for a nursery or preschool?
Yes. The bold outline weight and large enclosed areas were chosen with three and four year olds in mind, and the content is deliberately mild.
