Cute is a style rather than a subject, so what holds this set together is how things are drawn: oversized heads, small simple faces, rounded corners on everything. Two hundred designs, and they are deliberately not all drawn the same way. Some have a chunky sticker outline, some are drawn to look like a stitched plush toy, some carry small decorative patterns, and about two dozen are chibi children with big heads and tiny bodies, with the same chibi treatment applied to a few of the animals. Animals, food with faces, friendly objects, and a few pairs sharing one page.
Ways to use these cute coloring pages
Start with the simplest ones. The plainest designs are the single objects on an empty background, design 52, a dove on a cloud, and design 70, a croissant, for example. Few lines, large open areas. A three year old can finish one of these, which matters more than the drawing does.
Stickers. Print on full sheet label paper, color, cut out. The sticker-style designs with the extra thick outline, design 28 and design 31 for example, survive being cut around by a child.
Keep the palette small. Cute holds together with three or four colors and falls apart with twelve. Worth saying out loud before you hand over the box.
Every design downloads as a US Letter PDF that also scales cleanly to A4 with
“Fit to printable area”. Print in grayscale, there is no color in the files. Ordinary copier
paper is fine for crayons and pencils; use cardstock or slip a spare sheet underneath for markers.

Frequently asked questions
What age is this set for?
Three to six for most of it. The sticker designs have the widest gaps between lines. The plush-toy and decorated designs carry stitch lines and small patterns, so those suit slightly older children.
Is this the kawaii style?
Yes, that is the reference: simplified faces, round proportions, friendly expressions. We avoid the specific character designs that style is associated with, since those belong to their creators. Every character here, including the chibi children, is original.
What subjects are included?
Nearly half are small animals, including birds, fish and a few baby farm animals. About a quarter are food and drink with faces, from a pancake stack to a bowl of ramen. The rest are friendly objects like a teapot or a rocket, twenty-six chibi children in costumes, and thirteen pairs such as two kittens or a row of chicks.
Are there different drawing styles?
Several, and they are visibly different. The sticker designs have a noticeably thicker outline, the plush ones show stitch lines, the decorated ones add small patterns to pots and clothing, and the chibi ones have an oversized head. A few are drawn plainer than the rest. The style is written into each design description under the picture.
